No matter where your audio needs to go, no matter in what format, we help you get it there — in the highest quality and with the most modern processes.
Fixing these problems is why we created Ferncast, a development team of experienced PhDs and MScs of signal processing and software architecture. Together with you we grow, increase innovation and efficiency.
We want to listen and understand the challenges you face. Together with you we define the targets and design the solution.
We use standard components of our software as much as possible, create adaptations as APIs and others where necessary, to provide the requested solution.
You get a perfect 24/7 operational system architecture including training for your people and analysis tools for quality assurance

Until now we had to use various pieces of equipment for our requirements. Thanks to Ferncast and the fernReport we can now integrate experts and our fans into the program using a small and simple-to-use device and so enhance our live reporting on 05ER.fm
“For the procurement of new audio streaming encoders, SWR has chosen aixtream encoders from Ferncast since they are an optimal fit for our requirements.
Our experience with the ngLC (next generation Loudness Control) has been amazing. We used conventional normalization before but the ngLC is truly exceptional in how it achieved a truly consistent sound across our entire catalogue of thousands upon thousands of tracks. We believe this creates real value for the listener and has lifted their listening experience to the next level.
By using the aixtream solution, we were able to perform all our internet streaming (Icecast and HLS) and DVB multiplexing on a minimal number of individual systems. This reduced costs, simplified logistics and management, and allowed our operating personnel to benefit from skill transfer. Especially for DVB, most alternatives would have required multiple encoder devices.
Ferncast’s ability to provide a bespoke software solution, working closely with AVW, within a constrained delivery timeframe, was commendable. Navigating the intricacies of DAB+ signal delivery, especially when juxtaposed with traditional FM/AM broadcast services, was challenging. However, the collaboration’s outcome was a testament to the expertise of all parties involved.
For our security customers, like the german police, we had to comply with specific requirements and laws. To achieve this, encryption and logging were made in a way to ensure usability in court
