Customer Story – Ferncast has developed customized audio management solutions to meet the requirements of German football club 1. FSV Mainz 05

The football club is using the fernReport, powered by aixtream, for live audio applications, including online radio and fan call-in. In 2020, the football club asked Ferncast for the development of a specific aixtream widget for the software’s Dashboard to allow them to control the active input and output directly from there. This new widget also allows interaction with the fans during the live stream. This way the commentators can discuss the game with the fans in real time. This simple and intuitive widget makes it possible to handle the streaming as well as calls with players, coaches and fans at the same time and can record the audio too. New feature – aixtream 2.0 includes new Dashboard Widgets with Quick Actions

The aixtream suite of widgets is constantly expanding, adding more value to new and old customers alike as an increasing number of applications can be monitored and managed with less effort and more fun. One of the newest widgets we have developed is Quick Actions. This widget allows the users to set up a panel of buttons and switches on the Dashboard, in whatever configuration they prefer, to control multiple PIPES. The most common use for this feature is to switch the used inputs and outputs on-the-fly. 1. FSV Mainz 05 uses Quick Actions to handle their online radio streaming with listener call-ins, jingles and recording. Any applications that requires users to switch inputs and outputs regularly could be improved by use of the Quick Actions widget. Why not try it yourself?

Interview – Jessica Mouffok, voice over artist has tested the fernBerrie powered by aixtream

Jessica-Virginia Mouffok is a native German voice over artist. For her everyday work she requires professional hardware, pre-configured, stable and easy to use, so she can fully concentrate on her work - voiceover. Kundenstory – Ferncast hat eine maßgeschneiderte Lösung für die Anforderungen des 1. FSV Mainz 05 entwickelt

Der Fußball-Club nutzt fernReport, powered by aixtream, für Live-Audioanwendungen, einschließlich Online-Radio und Höreranrufe von Fans. 2020 baten Sie Ferncast dann ein neues Widgets für das Dashboard von aixtream zu entwickeln, mit dem der aktive Input und Output gleich im Dashboard durch einen einzigen Klick gewechselt werden kann. Außerdem sollte es dieses neue Widget erlauben, schon während des Live-Streams mit den Fans zu interagieren. Damit die Fans so das Spiel in Echtzeit mit den Kommentatoren besprechen könnten. Dieses Widget macht es nun möglich sowohl das Streaming als auch Anrufe mit Spielern, Trainern und Fans gleichzeitig zu handhaben, und dabei außerdem noch das Audio aufzunehmen. Neues Feature – Quick Actions als neues Widget für aixtream 2.0

Die Palette an Widgets für aixtream wächst konstant und so steigt sein Wert immer weiter an, sowohl für alte als auch neuen Kunden, da immer mehr Anwendungen mit weniger Aufwand und mehr Spaß überwacht und verwaltet werden können. Eines unserer neuesten Widgets ist Quick Actions. Dieses Widget ermöglicht es dem User ein Bedienfeld aus „Knöpfen“ und „Schaltern“ in jeder gewünschten Konfiguration auf dem Dashboard zu erstellen, mit dem dann mehrere PIPEs gesteuert werden können. Am meisten wird dieses Feature dazu benutzt, spontan und User-gesteuert zwischen verschiedeneren aktiven Inputs und Outputs zu wechseln. Der 1. FSV Mainz 05 benutzt Quick Actions beim Online-Radio-Streaming mit Höreranrufen, Jingles und Audioaufnahme. Jede Anwendung, bei der die User regelmäßig zwischen verschiedenen Inputs und Outputs wechseln müssen, kann durch Quick Actions vereinfacht werden. Versuch es doch mal selbst!

Für ihre alltägliche Arbeit braucht sie professionelle Hardware - vorkonfiguriert, stabil und leicht zu bedienen, damit sie sich voll auf ihre Arbeit konzentrieren kann - das Voiceover. Sie hat nun den fernBerrie getestet und uns ihre ersten Eindrücke vermittelt: „Es ist ein sehr einfach zu bedienendes Pro-Audiocodec mit einem wunderschön designten Interface, das sofort für Sprecher-Arbeit verwendet werden kann.
