The new fernReport won the RedTech Best In-Show Award

We are proud to announce that our new fernReport was awarded the RedTech Best In-Show Award at IBC2023 in Amsterdam. This prestigious annual award acknowledges outstanding technical innovation for broadcast products and solutions introduced in the last year.

The fernReport is a revolutionary next-generation reporter audio codec designed for reporting in the field, live sports commentary and more, available at a highly competitive price, starting at 995,–€. It supports on-site and remote interview, talkback, live streaming, recording – all at the same time. It is a compact solution, combining aixtream software and the new RasPad 3, a portable Raspberry Pi tablet. It offers up to three USB headset ports, storage for files and communication via Ethernet, built in Wifi, or 4G, 5G. It is entirely operated via touchscreen.

While the default intended application of the fernReport is obviously reporting, it could be used for any aixtream software use cases that benefits from a small form factor and operation on the device.
