DVB Audio Codec Server
The DVB Audio Codec Server family with aixtream COMPACT inside is the revolutionary solution for modern Digital Video Broadcasting handling for audio in the ACS Audio Codec Server range. The DVB ACS cover both the creation of MPEG TS as SPTS and MPTS and can also be used for the demuxing of an incoming multiplex to convert it to other outputs, like RTP, Icecast or HLS. They also support every possible variation of MPEG TS output, including various ancillary data and PID handling methods. Metadata ingest via HTTP and UECP is also supported.
DVB ACS
With Ferncast’s DVB family you get a powerful and flexible DVB platform that more than fulfills all professional DVB requiremts. The full range of MPEG TS options are included and the aixtream system makes the creation of MPTS especially simple and quick. Unlike many other products, any audio input you can imagine can be turned into a standards-compliant MPEG TS (MPTS OR SPTS). This allows the operator to integrate the ACS optimally into the system architecture, often replacing multiple adapters and similar hardware pieces in the process.
All kinds of DVB scenarios are supported. In addition, an expansive suite of monitoring and control features based on REST API, SNMP, Ember+ and NMOS ensure reliable operation and instantaneous alerting should issues arise. This makes the ACS product family supremely suited to all DVB scenarios and system concepts. This solidifies the DVB ACS as the most versatile DVB machine yet.
Hot backup concepts include simultaneous MPEG TS outputs. In the case of hardware failure, bought software licenses can also be transfered to a different hardware platform. In the case of full hardware failure, bought software licenses can also be transfered to a different hardware platform. If you are especially concerned with redundancy, make sure to pick a Redundant ACS.
Smart Control Applets can ensure that any errors in the transcoding process are automatically emailed or otherwise communicated to the administrators and technicians. Backup signals in the case of errors can also be configured.
